As a neurodivergent, qualified, and experienced professional, who provides neurodiversity coaching and Neurodiversity training, I am passionate about providing neuro-affirming supervision that values different ways of thinking, learning, and working. I recognise how perfectionism, imposter syndrome and rumination can become very draining and take the focus away from the positive work that is being done. In supervision we can help you to switch off your amazing busy brain, so that work life is not creeping in to home life. I have a nurturing style and strengths-based approach and encourage a self-compassionate voice.
I have over 10 years' experience providing independent clinical supervision for helping professionals in South Wales.
This work involves supporting frontline staff with:
• Trauma-informed practice
• Working with suicidal callers
• Emotional resilience
• Reflective practice
• Impact of secondary trauma
I help staff develop strategies to protect their wellbeing while continuing to provide high-quality support to others.
For people who enjoy working creatively, I can incorporate creative activities and resources, and walk-and-talk supervision sessions, recognising that some of our best thinking happens outside the office. Creative approaches can help unlock new perspectives and overcome blocks in thinking.

One of the things I value most about supervision is the opportunity to walk alongside people through their professional journey—supporting them through challenges, transitions, growth, and success.
Supervision is a collaborative, reflective process that supports practitioners in improving their practice, developing skills, and maintaining well-being. Supervision offers a supportive, reflective space where you can explore your work, develop professionally, and prioritise your wellbeing. It is a safe, confidential space tailored to your needs and focused on supporting your wellbeing.
Anyone who works with people can benefit from supervision. Supervision can be a huge benefit to health professionals, teachers, support workers, counsellors, coaches, educators, support workers, youth workers and much more.
Yes. I offer both online clinical supervision across the UK and face-to-face supervision in Cardiff. I can come to organisations and give reflective supervision to up to five members of staff in a day.
To get the best out of supervision it is common practice to have supervision every four to six weeks. People working in helping professions are often skilled at supporting others but may find it harder to prioritise their own wellbeing. Professional supervision is self-care, it helps to resource you to reduce feelings of overwhelm and secondary trauma.
Yes, I can provide group supervision face to face across Cardiff. For online group supervision across the UK, book a free consultation to discuss your organisation's needs and explore the most suitable option for your team.
The support you gave me throughout I won’t ever forget thank you so much 🙂 – Carrie - Social worker

‘Fiona has a vast amount of knowledge and experience supporting neurodiverse individuals, particularly those with a diagnosis of dyslexia, and has used this knowledge and skills when working with our students. She has also been particularly supportive in teaching strategies to newly diagnosed neurodiverse students.’ - Sarah – Social worker
I highly recommend Fiona. She has the ability to make you feel listened to and understood and I've gained many valuable insights thanks to her skilled and creative approach to supervision. She respected my need to take my time whilst gently guiding me to find answers, and has helped me grow both personally and professionally. - Marta – counsellor
Fiona has been my clinical supervisor as I work as a lead counsellor for a national charity and with my private clients. Fiona has been perfect for me over the years. She is a great listener and provides support and encouragement when necessary but will often pose a question or suggest an alternative viewpoint that gives a new perspective. This has been hugely important for me especially at times when I have doubted my own abilities.
Fiona has been great for building my own self confidence and for my counselling practice.
I cannot recommend her highly enough. – Jon - Lead counsellor
